The Nurses Unlimited Skilled Care Team includes:

  • Skilled Nursing
  • Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy
  • Home Health Aides
  • Dietician on Contract
  • Medical Social Services
 

Our Specialty Programs Include:

  • Disease Management - Management of Chronic Disease (Diabetes, Cardiac, Respiratory) and Daily Telemonitoring

  • Wound Care - We are staffed with an advanced Wound Care Team including Certified Wound Care Specialists that are Wound VAC Certified. This is for all types of wounds (Ulcers, Surgical, Chronic and Acute)

  • Physical Therapy - Geriatric strengthening, balance programs, and Anodyne Therapy for improved circulation.

  • IV Therapy- For fluid replacement and antibiotic therapy

  • Ostomy Care and teaching for new ostomy clients

  • Pulmonary Rehab Program- (COPD, Emphysema, Lung diseases)

Choosing Home Health allows a client to receive an individualized care plan, quicker recovery in the comfort of their home, and is more cost-effective.

 

This division also has the Pediatrics Program. The Pediatric Department is supervised and managed by skilled registered nurses. It is specifically designed to provide Skilled Nursing services for those clients who need individualized continuous care in their home.

The Chief of Operations of the Skilled care Division (Administrator) is Kitty Scrogum, RN. Kitty is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the Skilled Care department's ongoing functions to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services. She began working at Nurses Unlimited in 1991 as a Registered Nurse.

The Director of the Skilled Care Division (Supervising Nurse) is Sandy Nease, RN, WCC.
