Corporate Officers

Bobby Laughry, Chief Executive Officer - oversees the total management of the agency. He is a liaison between the Board of Directors, agency staff, and the community. Bobby is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). He received his Bachelor degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He has been with the agency since 1997.

David Nelson, Chief Financial Officer - is responsible for the daily oversight of the agency's financial operations. He received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration at McMurry College in Abilene, Texas. David is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He began working at Nurses Unlimited as a Corporate Controller in 1994.

Sandra Rowe, RN, Corporate Compliance Officer/ Director of Human Resources - is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the agency's Corporate Compliance program. She oversees agency compliance with policies and procedures and State/Federal regulations. Sandra graduated from Mary Meek School of Nursing in Abilene, Texas. She is a Registered Nurse. Sandra began working at Nurses Unlimited as a PI Nurse in 1992. In 1998, she became the Corporate Compliance officer. Three years later in 2001, she accepted a second position as Director of Human Resources.

Mary Burks, RN, CIC, CPHQ, Director of Performance Improvement/ Corporate Infection Control - is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the agency's performance improvement program. She is a Registered Nurse with certification in Infection Control and Health Care Quality. She also assists and advises agency departments with performance improvement activities. Mary has been with the company since 1994.

Lara Niemann, OTR, ATP, Branch Manager of Midland DME - is a licensed Occupational Therapist. She has been in the home health industry since 1992 with a focus on assistive technology since 1998. Mrs. Niemann also serves on the Board of Directors at Nurses Unlimited. Lara is a Certified Assistive Technology Practitioner through the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America. She supervises the provision of all DME services and coordinates all aspects of the Durable Medical Equipment Program at the Midland DME office (Mobility Unlimited).

Terri Riley, RN, Chief Operations Officer of the Long-Term Care Division - is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the Long-Term Care department's ongoing functions to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services. Terri started out as a PHC Field Supervisor. She later became the CBA Regional Director and CBA Manager at Nurses Unlimited in 1992.

Guy Riley, CEAC, Environmental Modifications Unlimited Director - is a third generation contractor with over 30 years of experience in building homes. For the past 13 years, Guy has dedicated his building expertise specifically to home modifications for accessibility. He is a Certified Environmental Access Contractor/Consultant (CEAC). With great pleasure, Mr. Riley and his professional staff travel throughout the state of Texas and surrounding states to efficiently provide consultations, job evaluations, material lists, and/or contracting services to individuals who need home modifications to their living environment.

Kitty Scrogum, RN, Chief Operations Officer of Skilled Care Division - is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the Skilled Care department's ongoing functions to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services. Kitty began working at Nurses Unlimited in 1991 as a Registered Nurse.

Mike Welborn, RRT, Director of Respiratory Therapy Services - supervises the provisions of all respiratory services and coordinates all aspects of the Respiratory Therapy Program. Mike is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and began his career at Nurses Unlimited in 1998. He started out as the Respiratory Manager and was promoted to Director of Respiratory Services and Branch operations.

Board of Directors

Patsy Gerron, Chairman - is the founder of Nurses Unlimited. She is a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Gerron started the agency in a one room office in 1983 and rapidly grew her business to one of the largest employers in the Permian Basin.

Dr. Jim Gerron - is a member of the Board of Directors at Nurses Unlimited. Mr. Gerron received his education from the University of Texas in Houston. He practiced Orthodontics and is now retired from the practice.

Brian Gerron - is a member of the Board of Directors at Nurses Unlimited. He received his Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting at the University of Texas at Austin. He also attended Texas Tech University School of Law. He currently has his own law firm, the Law Offices of Brian R. Gerron in Dallas, Texas.
